In General

If you want to help us, start by giving us some of your personal time.

All of us are called, to the best of our ability, to act collectively in solidarity to give a piece of ourselves, our souls and our thoughts to sensitive social groups.

A little of your time is enough to acquaint your family, your surroundings and even the wider environment with the abilities and potentials of people with intellectual disabilities.

Your role is decisive, so that we can raise the awareness of Greek society to the point where it will recognize the right to participate in life, to people with intellectual disabilities and will cultivate the conditions for their inclusion of the social life.

Familiarization Visit to the Center

If you are not sure whether and how you would like to help our effort, or even if you have no specific reason, we would suggest a visit to the premises of "To Ergastiri". It will be our pleasure to show you the creations of our beneficiaries and to take a tour around the work spaces, where you will have the opportunity to meet them in an environment that exudes creativity, joy and optimism. The small society of the 100 service users of the Center, remind all of us who come into contact with them every day of the need for acceptance, support and lots of love that all people need in order to evolve. Although we are based in Ano Liosia, access via Attiki Odos is particularly easy and the experience will reward you.

Participation as a volunteer

Become a member of the large network of volunteers of "To Ergastiri" Center, who either belong to non-governmental organizations or act individually, give their presence and undertake tasks at the events of our charitable organization every year, with the main one being "The Festival of Love" which is now a statute of the Center. For the friends of the Center who wish to be more systematically active, the "Love and Care" Volunteer Association was founded at the beginning of 2006. Members of the Association cover a wider range of actions with the aim of all kinds of support for "To Ergastiri", from supportive assistance in attracting Sponsors, to the moral and practical support of the people who live in the Supported Living Houses.
