The Board of Directors of the Association consists of nine (9) members and consists of parents, guardians and friends of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities. The Board of Directors is elected by the General Assembly of the members of the Association. The members of the Board of Directors have a three-year service. The Board of Directors meets twice a month, at which time it guides and approves the Association's strategy, the plan of activities and the corresponding budget, and controls the pace of their implementation. The Board also evaluates the overall performance of the Association, the performance of the Executives and controls the performance of the individual departments and the proper functioning of the Supported Living Houses.

In addition, the members of the Board take active action in the day-to-day operation of the Organization, offering their experience in achieving the goals of the Association for full accommodation, participation and inclusion of People with Intellectual Disabilities.

The work of the Board of Directors is supported by three committees, the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee and the Scientific Committee.

The operation and responsibilities of the Board of Directors are determined by the Association's statutes.
